Coastal Tanzania means salt air and 1,200 mm of annual rain — so this project specified hot-dip galvanized secondary steel, 0.5 mm-alu-zinc roofing with heavy-duty gutters, and 2 m eave overhangs to keep walls dry in driving rain.
Two storage halls flank the processing shed, giving 10,000 t of paddy capacity within a single fenced compound.
